The ABC National Craft Championships competition is a program
designed to recognize skill excellence in the trades and training programs across the country. This competition is available to apprentices in the top-level courses in the ABC Central Ohio Apprenticeship Program.
April 12 - 15, 2011 Each winter, the local competition takes place to select individuals to represent the Central Ohio Chapter in the ABC National Craft Championships.
In each event, apprentices must compete in written and hands-on contests of knowledge and skill. The craft championships promote craft training, skilled craftsmanship, and create a positive image for the construction industry.
Winners of the local competition receive paid accommodations, transportation, and expenses to the national competition. Medals, tools, and cash prizes are awarded to finalists in the ABC National Craft Championships.
