There remains to be a lot of confusion about the mandatory face covering requirement for all of construction. Yesterday’s retraction by Governor DeWine appears to be for retail customers only, and not Construction, Manufacturing and Distribution.
ABC has reached out to the Governor’s office (just before noon today, Wednesday). Per that conversations, the Governor will be revising their mask mandate; however, the expected language has to be clarified. We hope to have a clarification by the end of the day, though it should be addressed to some extent at today’s 2:00 pm press conference.
We will continue to monitor this to try to get clear information before the big “open” on May 4.
