Continued confusion over Governor DeWine’s mandate that employees wear masks unless certain exceptions are met, caused representatives from each of Ohio’s ABC chapters to work together to draft an industry “best practices” document aimed at providing some guidance and clarification for members. This working document has been released as part of a larger communications plan to show the Governor how ABC member companies are leading the construction industry in workplace safety efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As Ohio begins the seemingly slow process of re-opening, the government affairs efforts of ABC of Ohio aim to make sure ABC continues to be involved in the policy-making decisions impacting the construction industry. The attached letter was submitted to Lt. Governor Husted in support of this effort.
