According to the Centers for Disease Prevention, construction occupations have the highest rate of suicide, as well as the highest number of suicidesacross all occupational groups. ABC does not want to see our industry at the top of this list. It is our responsibility to make sure our employees go home in the same—or better—condition than when they arrived on the jobsite and safely return the next morning. While the manner in which information is delivered on that commitment may change, especially in the areas the safety and health of our workers, suicide prevention remains one of the industry’s priorities.
