The Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc. is committed to promoting safety in the workplace and increasing awareness of current and continuous safety issues. ABC Central Ohio provides the following courses to help your company maintain its high safety standards.

OSHA 10-Hour Course

          (Includes required materials.)
This two-day course shall broadly acquaint participants with the OSHA regulations regarding general industry. The means and methods of hazard awareness, recognition and avoidance will be highlighted. Upon successful completion, each participant will receive a course completion card from OSHA.

OSHA 30-Hour Course

(Includes OSHA Manual, OCILB CEU’s, and Hocking College credit.)
This interactive six-day comprehensive course covers the 1926 federal regulations affecting not only your jobsites, but also your employees on those jobsites. Some of the many topics to be covered include scaffolding, fall protection, excavation, respirators, haz-com, material handling, OSHA inspections, and much more. Each participant will receive an OSHA certification card upon successful completion of this class.

First Aid/CPR Certification Course

          Non-Members ................................ $75
First Aid is important at all levels of your company. ABC Central Ohio is pleased to offer an American Red Cross Standard First Aid class. Topics include: Emergency Action Principles, Aiding Choking Victims, CPR, Bleeding, Burns, & Fractures, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Positioning Victims for Rescue Resuscitation.
