ABC Requests Feedback From Members on the Proposal

Comments on SBA’s Small Business Size Standards proposed rule are due Sept. 21. As ABC develops its position on the proposal, we welcome member feedback on how the rule could affect their businesses and operations.

Specifically, ABC is interested in hearing from members who:

Currently qualify as a small business under the current receipt-based size standard for their relevant NAICS code;
Have recently exceeded the current receipt-based size standard and therefore lost small-business eligibility;
Are approaching the current receipt-based size standard;
Have experience bidding on or performing federal contracts;
Have participated in federal small-business set-asides;
Believe the proposed new employee-based size standard would create meaningful opportunities for their company;
Believe the proposed new employee-based size standard could expose their company to substantially greater competition.
